Shyam Rangeela had filed nomination against PM Modi, it was canceled

Varanasi: The nomination of comedian Shyam Rangeela has been cancelled. He had filed nomination papers as a candidate from Varanasi in the Lok Sabha elections. He himself gave this information through social media.

Shyam Rangeela informed us about the cancellation of the nomination through social media platform X. After the nomination was cancelled, he said, “It was decided that we will not be allowed to contest from Varanasi, now it has become clear. My heart is definitely broken, but my courage is not broken. Thank you all for your support. It is a request to the media and well-wishers, please do so now.” Don’t call, I will give whatever information I have here. Maybe I don’t feel like talking for a while.”

He said that I am an artist. But, I am not in a position to say anything. I think comedy is a better field for me. Politics is not my cup of tea.

He had filed his nomination a day earlier, on Tuesday itself. It is being told that Shyam Rangeela’s nomination has been rejected due to some mistake.

May 14 was the last day for filing nominations for the final and seventh phase of Lok Sabha elections.

Voting for Varanasi Lok Sabha seat is to be held in the seventh phase on June 1. PM Modi is the third time candidate from BJP on this seat. Whereas, India Alliance has made Ajay Rai the candidate on this seat. Athar Jamal Lari is the candidate from BSP on this seat.
