New Delhi| With only 66 new Covid cases and two deaths on Sunday, Delhi is set to open up completely from Monday. While theaters and multiplexes will open with 50 percent occupancy, public transport buses and Delhi Metro are allowed full seating capacity from Monday. Since then, the COVID Management Authority of Delhi in its phase-wise (week-wise) unlock process has allowed one-to-one commercial and public activities after a gap of one or two weeks, however, for cinema halls, theaters and multiplexes. was not allowed.

With the further easing of restrictions from Monday, commuters in public transport will get much-needed relief, as 100 percent passenger seating will be allowed in public buses. However, standing passengers will not be allowed in both DTC buses and Metro Rail.

In its latest guidelines regarding COVID management in the national capital, the administration has allowed full gatherings at wedding functions and funerals.

From Monday, all auditoriums and auditoriums have been allowed to open at 50 percent seating capacity.

The Delhi Rail Metro Corporation on Sunday said train services will now run with full seating capacity from July 26, but there will be no provision for passengers to travel standing still.
