73-year-old cabinet minister Thaawarchand Gehlot appointed governor

New Delhi | President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday appointed new governors in eight states. The most important thing is that in the Modi government, Cabinet Minister Thaawarchand Gehlot has been made the Governor of Karnataka. It is believed that due to old age, 73-year-old Thaawarchand Gehlot has been removed from the role of the cabinet minister of the central government and given the responsibility of governor.

President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed new governors in a total of eight states. Among these, Mizoram Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai has been made the Governor of Goa, similarly Haryana Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya has been transferred and sent to Tripura. Tripura Governor Ramesh Bais has been appointed as the new Governor of Jharkhand. Union Minister Thaawarchand Gehlot will be the Governor of Karnataka. Similarly, Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatreya has been given the responsibility of Haryana. Dr. Hari Babu has been appointed as the Governor of Mizoram and Mangubhai Changbhai Patel as the Governor of Madhya Pradesh. Goa’s leader Rajendra Vishwanath has been made the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
