A pond or dam is being built in Dhar at a cost of 304 crores!

Bhopal| Due to water leakage in a water structure of Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, the breath of the general public was stuck, many villages had to be evacuated, a large number of crops were damaged, and now the political debate has come to a standstill. Whether this water structure is being built at a cost of 304 crores is a dam or a pond. When the water leaked, it was called Karam Dam and now it is being called a pond.

It is known that in the past, there was a leak in the water structure being built on the Karam river of Dhar district, due to which the lives of the people of more than two dozen nearby villages were in trouble. Then the administration vacated the village and started draining the water. Several ministers of the state government had camped in Dhar. Traffic on the Agra-Mumbai route was also affected. Not only this, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan kept an eye on every situation of water withdrawal while sitting in Bhopal. Simultaneously, the inquiry was ordered.

A statement of State Home Minister Dr Narottam Mishra is going viral on social media, it has been tweeted by Congress Media Coordinator Narendra Saluja, in which he is shown saying that the Chief Minister has clarified that it did not have gates, therefore Calling it a big dam or a dam is not the same thing, it was a pond-like area and the Chief Minister has made it clear.

Congress State President Kamal Nath has said, 15 days have passed in the Karam Dam damaged case of Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, but till now no action has been taken against any of the guilty. Shivraj government had made a four-member inquiry committee and claimed to take action after investigating it in five days, but it has been 11 days, where is the investigation report, who has it, it is still not known and no action is taken yet.

He further said, the kind of rhetoric that is being made about this dam, it can be understood that the government is trying to save more culprits. It is very shameful that Rs 304 crore was wasted in the name of construction of this dam and now to save the culprits responsible, it is being called a pond. Congress will not sit silently on this corruption, till the culprits are not punished, our struggle will continue.
