Arjun Kapoor trolled for replacing Sushant Singh Rajput in ‘Half Girlfriend’

Mumbai: A 5-year-old tweet from writer Chetan Bhagat has suddenly gone viral on Twitter, in which he has announced Sushant Singh Rajput as the lead actor of the film based on his book ‘Half Girlfriend’.

In a tweet posted by Chetan Bhagat on November 7, 2015, “It is a pleasure to share that Sushant is playing the lead role in the film Half Girlfriend directed by Mohit”.

Netizens are now sharing Bhagat’s tweet and are blaming Arjun Kapoor for removing Sushant in the film and helping himself with the help of nepotism. Due to this, Arjun Kapoor was in trend on Twitter on Wednesday.

After the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput last week, netizens feel that he was a victim of Bollywood nepotism and power play. So they are expressing their displeasure on social media and Star Kids are being trolled.

Sharing Bhagat’s tweet, a user wrote, “So Sushant was going to be in the film Half Girlfriend, but in the end Starkid Arjun Kapoor was given the film. At the behest of whom?”

Another wrote, “Aditya removed Sushant, Ranveer removed Sushant, then veteran Arjun Kapoor removed Sushant, well then who among you thought it was just a coincidence not an injustice to Sushant. Please support Sushant, otherwise we will see more Sushant soon.”
