Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar will be sworn in as the CM or chief minister for the seventh time in Bihar on Monday. Nitish Kumar will take oath as Chief Minister in a simple ceremony held at Rajendra Mandap of Raj Bhavan at 4.30 pm. Meanwhile, several ministers are likely to be sworn in along with Nitish. For the first time in Nitish’s cabinet, senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi will not be there. Tarkishore Prasad, who became the fourth time MLA from Katihar, is considered to be the Deputy Chief Minister.

The NDA has won a total of 125 seats in the elections, but the JDU has won only 43 seats while the BJP has won 74 seats. In such a situation, according to sources, the number of ministers in this cabinet will be more than the BJP quota based on the strength of MLAs.

Sources claim that along with Nitish Kumar, six ministers from JDU, seven from BJP and one from the NDA-developing Vikas Insan Party (VIP) and Hindustani Awam Morcha (WE) may take oath on Monday.

There may be two Deputy Chief Ministers in this cabinet, but Tarkishore Prasad, who became the fourth time MLA from Katihar, is considered to be the Deputy Chief Minister. Bettiah MLA Renu Devi is also expected to become the Deputy Chief Minister. Renu Devi came from Betia for the fourth time.

It is being said that efforts are being made to keep experienced and young leaders in Nitish’s new cabinet. Sources say that the Speaker of the Assembly is also likely to be from the BJP quota. Sources say that senior BJP leaders Nandkishore Yadav or Amarendra Pratap Singh could be made the Speaker of the Assembly.

Here, JDU quota can become the former Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Mevalal Chaudhary, Maheshwar Hazari, Ashok Chaudhary, Sheela Kumari and Shravan Kumar. Apart from this, we can take oath for the post of Minister of State for Santosh Manjhi and VIP Chief Mukesh Sahni.

Here, speaking of BJP quota, seven BJP MLAs can take oath of ministerial position on Monday. The names of Mangal Pandey and Prem Kumar are being considered in this.

Nitish Mishra, Vinod Narayan Jha can also be made ministers from BJP quota.

Senior BJP leaders and Union ministers are also expected to attend this swearing-in ceremony. Preparations for the ceremony at Raj Bhavan are in the final stages.
