BJP President JP Nadda’s new team – Varun and Maneka Gandhi out, Smriti Irani return

New Delhi| BJP National President JP Nadda announced his new team on Thursday. BJP MP Varun Gandhi and his mother former Union Minister Maneka Gandhi have also been dropped from the new National Executive of BJP formed by JP Nadda. In this new team, Union Minister and MP from Amethi, Smriti Irani has returned. The party’s national executive meeting will be held in New Delhi on November 7, 2021. In fact, BJP national president JP Nadda reconstituted the party’s national executive on Thursday. While releasing the list of the new executive, BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh said that BJP National President JP Nadda has appointed 80 members in the National Working Committee. Along with this, 50 leaders have been included as special invitees and 179 leaders have been included as permanent invitees (ex-officio), including the Chief Minister of the party, Deputy Chief Minister,

Many veterans including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP veteran LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, former National President Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari have also been included in the new National Executive of BJP.

But the most shocking fact was that in this new executive, two big leaders of the party were not included this time. Maneka Gandhi, who was a Union minister in the first term of the Modi government and currently Lok Sabha MP from Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh, has been thrown out of the BJP’s national executive. His son and Lok Sabha MP from Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh Varun Gandhi has also been dropped from the national executive.

Let us tell you that in recent days, Varun Gandhi was continuously tweeting and demanding action from the government regarding the Lakhimpur violence. In a letter to CM Yogi Adityanath, Varun had also demanded action alleging the killing of farmers in Lakhimpur. While sharing a video on Twitter on Thursday morning, Varun Gandhi wrote that the protesters cannot be silenced through murder and accountability should be fixed. Due to these attitudes of Varun Gandhi, the BJP was constantly in trouble and in such a situation, this decision of the party president is also being seen as displeasure.

In this new team of Nadda, Union Women and Child Development Minister and Smriti Irani, who defeated Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha elections from Amethi, has also returned. Smriti Irani has been given a place in the National Executive as a member.

Apart from film actor Mithun Chakraborty, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Shubhendu Adhikari, many leaders from other parties have also been given a place in the National Working Committee. At the same time, many old leaders of the party have not been made members of the national executive this time.

Talking on the new executive of the party, a BJP leader said that this time around 30 percent new leaders have been included in the executive. The meeting of this newly formed National Executive of the party will be held in New Delhi on November 7, 2021.
