London, Britain’s main opposition Labor Party has given clarification on the disputed Kashmir proposal. The Labor Friends of India (LFIN) group said on Monday that the Kashmir resolution passed at the party conference last year does not fall under the party’s policy.

The group’s co-chairman and MP Darren Jones said the Labor Party believes that the Kashmir issue is an internal matter of India. The work of the Labor Party is not to say what should and should not happen in which country. It is believed that the Labor Party is trying to win the trust of Indian voters. Under this, the group has tried to differentiate the party from the resolution passed in last year’s conference.

Since Keir Starmer became Labor Party chief.

His policies have been changing. Starmer is walking a different path from the policies of the party’s former Jeremy Corbyn. Apart from this, the party’s changed attitude towards India is also due to the party’s Indian origin leader Lisa Nandi, who is the shadow foreign minister.
