Reflecting on the event, Kej said, “I’m very honored to be a goodwill ambassador with the United Nations, particularly with the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). The UNCCD is organizing their COP16, the Conference of Parties 16, in Saudi Arabia this year. I’m here to attend the conference, film a music video, and create a documentary about land degradation and desertification to raise awareness of the environmental challenges we face.”

He continued, “While attending formal events for COP16 in Riyadh, President Macron was also in town. I reached out to him, and he invited me for lunch.”

Recalling the meeting, Kej added, “We hugged, and the lunch was beautifully organized by the Saudi government. President Macron also introduced me to His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Culture. We discussed ways to collaborate between India and Saudi Arabia through music and our shared cultural heritage. During lunch, the three of us took a selfie—President Macron even took it using my phone! I deeply admire His Highness Prince Badr for his vision and commitment to fostering cultural exchange between nations.”

Kej also expressed his deep gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for elevating India’s status on the global stage.

“The person I am most thankful to is our dear Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. He has made India visible on the world map. In the past, India was often sidelined in intergovernmental discussions. Now, India is not only participating but is also leading as a voice for the Global South. Because of this newfound visibility, Indian culture, traditions, and artists like me are receiving global recognition. It’s because of his leadership that the world wants to collaborate with Indian artists and explore our art and traditions,” Kej remarked.

He added, “This push from PM Modi has led to a global resurgence of Indian music. Our traditional, classical, and folk musicians are performing at international venues and doing large concerts like never before. I will always be grateful to our Prime Minister for showcasing India in such a beautiful way and encouraging all of us to do the same.”

Story Plot:

The film begins with a flashback. A young writer travelling in a car with his friend is going to gift his new book Jahankillah to his very special friend. This is where the journey of memories of the past begins. The film is the story of a Sikh youth Shinda who after completing his studies in his village is busy having fun with his friends. Shinda (Jobanpreet Singh) revolves around his friends Garvila (Jashan Kohli) and Sanju (Jeet Singh Panwar) – who after being selected in the police force come to the police training centre Jahankillah Academy and here a deep bond is formed between these three.

Here, while training under Sewa Singh (Prakash Gadhu), all three dream of seeing their families happy after completing their training and joining government service.

During training, one day Shinda gets into trouble for beating up the academy chief’s nephew. After this, when he is harassed every day by the academy chief and his nephew, he takes the big decision of becoming an IPS with the help of his friends and starts working towards realizing his dream.

Overall:

Director Vicky Kadam has presented the atmosphere of the police academy beautifully and with complete honesty. Gurbani Gill has got less footage in the role of Shinda’s girlfriend Simran but she has brought life to her character. The lead character of the film, Jobanpreet Singh, is also the writer of this film. He has brought his character to life. Jeet Singh Panwar is perfect in the role of Sanju and Jashn Kohli is amazing in the role of Ghabreela. The songs of the film are perfect for the story. Young director Vicky Kadam has brought a clean and message-giving story to the screen with complete honesty.

Of course, there are some flaws in the film. The film ends abruptly and it seems that the maker is planning to make a part 2 of the film. If you are a fan of clean and message-giving films, then do not miss this film.

Talking about the story of the film, this film revolves around the warrior Maximus and his son named Lucius. The character of Mavlucius is played by Paul Mescal in this film. The son is also a powerful warrior like his father who is fighting a war against the tyrannical rulers of Rome. His wife Arist also supports him in this war who is also a good warrior herself. Connie has played the character of Arist in the film in a lively manner. The twist in the story of the film comes when Lucius takes the form of a gladiator while fighting. Now it remains to be seen how Lucius fights the atrocities of Rome and what is the result of this war.

In my opinion, all the action sequences of the film are amazing. Whether it is the warriors’ getup or the bloodshed, all the scenes will surprise you. The cinematography of this film is excellent, which brings the war environment of the old times to reality. The background music of the film is amazing and works to bring life to every scene. This film is much better than the previous film, this time the story has been developed more. Although the film is a bit long, but it leaves no stone unturned in entertaining you.
