Lucknow, December 22  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, initiating a special discussion in the Assembly on the completion of 150 years of Vande Mataram, directly blamed the Congress and Mohammad Ali Jinnah for India’s cultural division and ultimately the partition of the country.

He said that the compromise reached on Vande Mataram was not a respect for any religious sentiment, but rather the first, biggest, and most dangerous experiment of Congress’s appeasement politics, which gave rise to separatism. As long as Mohammad Ali Jinnah was in the Congress, Vande Mataram was not a controversy. Upon leaving the Congress, Jinnah made the national anthem a tool of Muslim League politics and deliberately tried to give it a communal color. The song remained the same, but the agenda changed.

CM Yogi said that on October 15, 1937, Jinnah raised the slogan against Vande Mataram from Lucknow, while Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the Congress President at that time. Soon after, on October 20, 1937, Nehru wrote to Subhas Chandra Bose, stating that the issue was “alarming” Muslims, a clear admission of Congress appeasement. On October 26, 1937, Congress decided to remove portions of Vande Mataram, which was then called “harmony,” but in reality, it was a sacrifice of national consciousness. Patriots protested, and morning processions were organized, but the Congress leadership, instead of standing with the nation, sided with its vote bank.

The Chief Minister said that on March 17, 1938, Jinnah demanded that Vande Mataram be completely changed, but Congress did not retaliate. As a result, the Muslim League grew emboldened, separatism intensified, and the first compromises were made on cultural symbols, ultimately laying the foundation for India’s unfortunate partition. The opposition to Vande Mataram was neither religious nor faith-based; it was purely political. He recalled that Vande Mataram was sung at every Congress session from 1896 to 1922. There was no fatwa or religious controversy. Even during the Khilafat Movement, the song resonated from every platform. Leaders like Maulana Abul Kalam Azad supported it. The problem was not religion, but the politics of some individuals.

The Chief Minister explained that in 1923, Mohammad Ali Johar first opposed Vande Mataram at the Congress session. This opposition was not religious, but motivated by Khilafat politics. When Vishnu Digambar Paluskar sang the entire song, Johar left the stage. Leaving the stage was his personal decision, but Congress’s surrender became its policy. Subsequently, instead of standing firmly in support of the national anthem, the Congress formed committees, and finally, in 1937, it was decided that only two verses would be sung, and even those would not be mandatory. He described this as national surrender.

The Chief Minister said that the fragmented Vande Mataram, adopted by the Constituent Assembly on January 24, 1950, was also a result of this appeasement policy of the Congress. The nation embraced the song, but the Congress had already discarded it. Vande Mataram is not just a song, but the soul of India. From the Partition of Bengal movement of 1905 to the freedom struggle, it was the mantra of morning processions, satyagrahas, and revolutionaries until their last breath. Rabindranath Tagore called it the soul of India, and Aurobindo Ghosh called it the mantra. Vande Mataram was inscribed on the first foreign flag hoisted by Madame Bhikaji Cama; Madanlal Dhingra’s last words were also Vande Mataram.

The Chief Minister said that the compromise with Vande Mataram was not only an insult to the song but a brutal blow to India’s national direction. He warned that even today, some political forces are attempting to revive this same divisive thinking. The national anthem was targeted then, and today, attempts are being made to weaken the national spirit.

The Chief Minister said that Vande Mataram does not merely mean saluting the motherland, but also pledging to protect, prosper, and glorify it. Building a superior, self-reliant, and developed India is possible only by learning from the historical mistakes of appeasement. He urged the House to study Bankim Chandra Chatterjee’s “Anand Math” to understand national consciousness and to embrace Vande Mataram’s 150th anniversary as a pledge for the future.

New Delhi, July 12 . People will face continuous intermittent rain throughout this week in the entire NCR including Delhi. Along with this, there will be strong sunlight, after which people will have more trouble due to humidity.

According to the latest report of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the Meteorological Department has not issued any kind of warning or alert at present, but the continuous rain has increased the problems of the common people.

According to the weather forecast from July 12 to July 17, there is a possibility of rain or heavy showers with thunder every day. The temperature has been recorded between maximum 36 degrees Celsius and minimum 23 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air is also quite high, which will range from 60 percent to 95 percent, due to which strong humidity will be felt in the area.

There may be a slight increase in the maximum temperature in the next two days, due to which heat and humidity can be very troublesome. Due to the rain, many areas of Delhi and NCR are facing a serious problem of waterlogging. Major roads, underpasses and colonies are flooded, due to which the traffic system has collapsed. Drivers have to spend a long time in traffic, and vehicles have also stopped at many places.

The situation in Delhi NCR remains very worrying in Noida-Ghaziabad as well as Gurugram. Due to long traffic jams and water filled on underpasses and roads, drivers are seen to be very upset and struggling with problems.

Despite there being no warning by the Meteorological Department, people are advised to avoid unnecessary travel during the rain and stay away from waterlogged areas. The Municipal Corporation and other concerned agencies have also been instructed to fix the drainage system.

Kanpur, May 30 . Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday that it is a matter of pride for the entire Uttar Pradesh that it is playing a big role in the self-reliance of the country’s defense sector. A safe environment for investment is created in the state.

The Prime Minister said this while inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of several development projects in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. This also includes the inauguration of the Chunniganj to Kanpur Central Metro Station section of the Kanpur Metro Rail Project costing more than Rs 2,120 crore.

He said that just like there is an old ordinance factory in Kanpur, the government has converted seven such ordinance factories into big modern companies. The infrastructure, facilities, resources that are available in big metro cities, are now visible in our Kanpur as well. Kanpur Metro is a proof of how sincere efforts are made for the development of the country and the state if there is a government with right intentions, strong will and good intentions. At a time when traditional industries were migrating, now big companies of the defense sector are coming there. Production of AK 203 rifles has started in Amethi nearby. The new address of the Brahmos missile that did not let the enemies sleep in ‘Operation Sindoor’ is also Uttar Pradesh.

He said that today the youth are wanting to start their own industry, so they are getting money under the Mudra scheme. We are creating a new environment for new industries here. The traditional leather industries of Kanpur are being strengthened. Kanpur as well as all the districts of Uttar Pradesh will get its benefit.

He said that Kanpur Central will also look world class like the airport. Our government is renovating more than 150 stations under the Amrit Bharat Yojana. Uttar Pradesh is now moving ahead in every field. Earlier it was identified by broken potholes, now it is identified by expressways. Who can know better than Kanpur how Uttar Pradesh has changed? In a few days, the journey through Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway will take 40 to 45 minutes. Connectivity to Purvanchal Expressway will also be available from Lucknow. It will also be connected to Ganga Expressway.

He said that taking Kanpur to new heights of development is the priority of the “double engine government”. Kanpur’s old glory will return again.

New Delhi, May 12. India has caused massive damage to Pakistan under ‘Operation Sindoor’. The Indian Army held a joint press conference on ‘Operation Sindoor’ on Monday.

During this, the army clarified that India’s fight has always been against the terrorists and their infrastructure active in Pakistan and will continue in this direction in the future as well.

In the press conference, the army also showed clips of the wreckage of the Pakistani Mirage aircraft and the remains of the PL-15 air-to-air missile.

Air Marshal AK Bharti said that India’s goal was only to target terrorist hideouts, but unfortunately the Pakistan Army made it its fight by supporting the terrorists.

He told that on May 7, the army had attacked only the terrorist bases. He said that in this situation, India’s retaliation was necessary and Pakistan itself is responsible for the damage caused to it.

The Air Marshal said that the Indian air defense system stands firm in the security of the country and it is impossible for the enemies to penetrate it. He bluntly said that all military bases, equipment and systems are fully active and fully prepared for any next action.

It is noteworthy that in response to the drone and missile attacks by Pakistan during May 7 to 9, India destroyed many air defense systems of Pakistan including Lahore.

Also, India retaliated on 11 Air Force bases of Pakistan on the night of May 9-10, including Noor Khan, Rafiqui, Muridke, Sukkur, Sialkot, Pasrur, Chunian, Sargodha, Scaru, Bholari and Jacobabad. This was the first time that a country successfully damaged the air force camps of a nuclear-capable nation.

These attacks damaged the bases of Pakistan’s F-16 and JF-17 fighter planes, destroying 20 percent of the infrastructure of the Pakistani Air Force.

Meanwhile, in the attack on Bholari airbase, more than 50 Pakistani military personnel, including Squadron Leader Usman Yusuf, were killed and several fighter planes were destroyed.

New Delhi, May 12 India’s and Pakistan’s Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) talked on hot line on Monday. The army has confirmed this conversation on Monday evening. This conversation, which took place after the firing and air strikes from both sides stopped, is considered very important.

Pakistan’s morale was broken due to India’s successful retaliation in ‘Operation Sindoor’. After falling badly behind in this battle, Pakistan proposed a ceasefire to India on May 10, which India accepted on its terms. On this subject, India and Pakistan’s DGMOs held an important discussion on Monday. In this, ceasefire on the Line of Control was discussed.

India’s DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai participated in this military level talks with Pakistan. Pakistan was represented by its DGMO Major General Kashif Abdullah.

According to the information, Pakistan has said that now it will not take this conflict forward. Pakistan has also said that it will not violate the ceasefire. A fresh ceasefire agreement was also signed by the DGMOs of India and Pakistan in the year 2021 to maintain peace and stability on the Line of Control. The DGMOs of both the countries talk on the hot-line on peace restoration and related issues on the Line of Control.

According to the information, the consensus reached on stopping the firing and the current situation were reviewed in the discussion.

On April 22, 26 innocent tourists were killed by Pakistan-backed terrorists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. After this terrorist attack, the Indian Army targeted terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir under ‘Operation Sindoor’, in which more than a hundred terrorists were killed.

The Indian Army says that it targeted only terrorist hideouts. Military and civilian bases were not their target, but the Pakistani Army retaliated in support of the terrorists, after which India gave a befitting reply to the Pakistani Army.

Earlier, Indian Army’s DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai told in New Delhi that the Indian air defense system foiled all the attacks of Pakistan, the coordination of the three forces was visible in ‘Operation Sindoor’.

The DGMO said that the air strikes carried out by Pakistan on the night of 9 and 10 May were completely foiled by India’s strong air defense system. These attacks were carried out by targeting our air defense and important bases of the Air Force, but all the efforts of Pakistan failed in front of our already prepared multi-level air defense system.
