New Delhi, May 8  The central government on Thursday called an all-party meeting to give information about Operation Sindoor. This meeting was chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. The Indian Army successfully carried out Operation Sindoor and carried out air strikes on 9 terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and PoK. The Indian Army said that all these terrorist hideouts were demolished.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh shared information about the air strike in the all-party meeting. According to sources, he said that in Operation Sindoor, a precise attack was carried out on 9 terrorist hideouts. About 100 terrorists were killed. There is no concrete information on the count of terrorists killed as Operation Sindoor is still going on.

Operation Sindoor was launched in response to the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam on April 22. 26 innocent people were killed in this terrorist attack, after which tension between India and Pakistan increased significantly. After the strict action of the Indian Army through Operation Sindoor, tension between the two neighboring countries is at its peak. Rajnath Singh said in the all-party meeting that we do not want to take the matter further. But if Pakistan gives any kind of response, then we will also not back down.

After the all-party meeting on ‘Operation Sindoor’, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said, “Today the all-party meeting chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has been very good, in which all the leaders have put forth their views seriously. First of all, the Defense Minister informed all the leaders about Operation Sindoor. After this, everyone gave their opinion and also gave suggestions. All the leaders also congratulated the armies. Everyone said that we will support the government in unity and will support the army in every action. I thank all the leaders and it was a positive meeting.” At the same time, the opposition also raised questions on the absence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this meeting. However, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said after the meeting that his party has given full support to the government. He told that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi suggested that a special session of Parliament should be called to discuss this issue, so that the MPs can express their views and this will increase the confidence of the public. However, the government did not give any clear response to this suggestion.

In the meeting, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi and NCP-SP leader Supriya Sule also asked questions about the jet plane crash in Bathinda.

New Delhi, May 7  Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that India’s space journey is not about competing with others, but it is based on ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ i.e. the whole world is one family.

Amid the growing competition in space exploration among global powers, Prime Minister Modi addressed the Global Conference on Space Exploration (GLEX 2025) through a video message. During this, he urged for collective development through space exploration.

PM Modi said, “India’s space vision is based on the ancient wisdom of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, which means the world is one family. We strive not only for our own development but also to enrich global knowledge, solve common challenges and inspire future generations.”

He said India stands for dreaming together, building together and reaching the stars together.

Calling for the direction of science and shared dreams for a better tomorrow, he said “Let us together write a new chapter in space exploration.”

PM Modi said, “Space is not just a destination. It is a declaration of curiosity, courage and collective progress. The Indian space journey reflects this spirit. From launching a small rocket in 1963 to becoming the first country to land near the South Pole of the Moon, our journey has been spectacular. Our rockets carry much more than payloads. They carry the dreams of 1.4 billion Indians.” He listed space achievements like successful Mars mission, Chandrayaan-1, Chandrayaan-2, Chandrayaan-3, cryogenic engine launch and satellite docking and termed them as ‘important scientific milestones’.

He also announced upcoming missions like this year’s Human Space Flight Mission ‘Gaganyaan’, ISRO-NASA joint mission to International Space Station, establishment of Indian Space Station by 2035 and Moon mission by 2040.

“Mars and Venus are also on our radar. Apart from exploration, the country’s space journey is also about empowerment,” PM Modi said.

“It empowers governance, enhances livelihoods and inspires generations. From warnings to fishermen to Gati Shakti platforms, from railway safety to weather forecasts, our satellites take care of the welfare of every Indian,” he said.
