Delhi on alert amid Omicron threat, will not celebrate Christmas and New Year

New Delhi| People will no longer be able to celebrate Christmas and New Year in the country’s capital due to the threat of Omicron. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has issued an order and has decided that all cultural events, gatherings should be banned, while the officials of the district administration and Delhi Police have also been directed to follow the order. That is, there will be no gathering of any kind, apart from this, the Market Trade Association has been asked to strictly enforce the no mask, no entry people outside their shops.

Apart from this, it has also been said in the order that, all the DMs are directed to survey the super spreader areas of their respective areas and increase the enforcement there.

Actually, there has been an increase in the cases of Covid in Delhi, while a total of 102 cases were registered on Tuesday, before this, there was a steady decline in the cases of Covid in Delhi, but this decision has been taken in view of the sudden increasing cases.

On Tuesday, 1 patient died due to corona infection, with this the total death toll from corona in Delhi reached 25,102.
