Haryana Assembly Election: Nearly 61 percent voting till 5 pm

Chandigarh, October 5  Voting is being held for 90 assembly seats in the electoral state of Haryana. According to the Election Commission, about 61 percent voting had taken place in the state till 5 pm.

The voting process is going on for all the seats of Haryana, which has 90 assembly seats. Here people came out of their homes to vote since morning. The last time for voting is 6 pm. According to the report of the Election Commission, about 61 percent people in the state have exercised their franchise till 5 pm, an hour before the voting process ended. At the same time, there is a possibility of increase in the voting percentage at the last moment as well.

In Haryana’s capital Chandigarh, Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad held a press conference with CEO Pankaj Agarwal. He has expressed hope that the voting percentage will increase further. TVSN said that voting is going on well in the entire state. Voting is expected to increase further in the NCR area at the last moment. Many times voters line up here after 5 pm.

In the press conference, he told that except for some small incidents, voting was conducted peacefully in the entire state. Wherever some incidents have happened, the police is investigating. Voting was not hindered anywhere. Apart from this, no case of EVM tampering came to light. The credit for peaceful voting goes to the public, the people of the state are very aware. TVSN said that India’s election system is an example in front of the world.

Let us tell you that voting is being held on all 90 seats of Haryana in a single phase on October 5. Its results will come on October 8 along with the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. In Haryana, on the one hand, BJP is making every possible effort to remain in power. On the other hand, Congress is making every possible effort to return to power. Whereas, in the meantime, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is also looking for its ground in Haryana.
