High Court: When will Delhi get full oxygen, the question on Remedisvir from Center

New Delhi| The Delhi High Court has reprimanded the central government on Wednesday. The Central Government was reprimanded on two major issues that spoiled the Corona situation in Delhi. The High Court asked about the lack of oxygen in Delhi, on what basis the allocation of oxygen has been done in Delhi. Senior advocate Rahul Mehra, appearing for the Delhi government, said that the Delhi government has allocated medical oxygen according to the bed capacity and standards of the hospitals.

Senior advocate Rahul Mehra allocated 490 metric tonnes of oxygen to the Delhi government, which has never been met by Delhi, yet 400 metric tonnes of oxygen has also not been received. Due to which many hospitals are not getting oxygen as per their requirement.

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday also lambasted the central government for the lack of anti-viral drug remodecyr. The High Court has criticized the Center over the use of remadecivir according to the new protocol. The High Court held that the drug was to be given only to patients with oxygen support. He said that the central government has handled the entire case incorrectly. The High Court also asked the Center on what basis it was decided on what quantity of medicines was to be given to the Delhi government.
