New Delhi, October 8 Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while expressing gratitude to the people of both the states in a gratitude program organized at the party’s national office to celebrate the big victory in the Haryana assembly elections and the increase in the support base of the party in Jammu and Kashmir, targeted the Congress fiercely.
Addressing the senior leaders and workers of the party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that today is the sixth day of Navratri and the day of worship of Maa Katyayani. Mother Katyayani is blessing all of us while sitting on a lion and holding a lotus in her hand. On such a holy day, the lotus has bloomed in Haryana for the third consecutive time. The people of Haryana have done wonders again and have made it Kamal-Kamal. Truth, development and good governance have won on the land of Gita. People of every caste, every class have voted for the BJP.
While referring to the achievement of BJP getting the maximum votes in the first assembly elections held in Jammu and Kashmir after the removal of Article 370, Prime Minister Modi said that after decades of waiting in Jammu and Kashmir, finally peaceful elections were held, votes were counted, results were declared. This is the victory of the Constitution of India, the victory of India’s democracy. BJP has emerged as the largest party in terms of vote share among all the parties contesting elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
While congratulating all the candidates who won the elections and the voters of both the states, he also saluted the BJP workers for their penance and austerity. Expressing gratitude to the people of Haryana, PM Modi said that 13 elections have been held in Haryana so far. In 10 of these elections, the people of Haryana changed the government after every 5 years. But what the people of Haryana have done this time is unprecedented. This is the first time that a government that has completed two terms of 5 years each has got a chance for the third time in Haryana.
He said that today in Haryana, the guarantee of development has prevailed over the lie. The people of Haryana have created a new history. BJP is not only the biggest party in the world, but it also has a place in the hearts of most people. In Haryana, the people gave BJP a hat-trick on the issue of development. BJP has freed us from the misrule of Congress, so the people of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh have been blessing it for more than two decades.
Citing the example of BJP’s continuous victory in many states including Haryana, the Prime Minister said that Congress considers power as its birthright. When it is not in the government, the condition of Congress becomes like a fish without water. Therefore, after coming to power, it does not hesitate to put the country and society at stake. People of most states of the country have put up a no entry board for Congress. Earlier Congress used to think that whether it works or not, people will vote for it. But now the truth of Congress has been revealed. Its box has been opened.
He said that once again it has become clear that Congress has become a completely parasitic party. In Haryana, when Congress fought the election alone, it was wiped out, while in Jammu and Kashmir, its ally party was already saying out of fear that it was suffering losses because of Congress. The Congress family hates Dalits, backward and tribals, is irritated with them. Today when Dalits, backward and tribals are reaching the top positions, they are getting upset. This royal family of Congress has said openly that they will end reservation. By snatching the reservation of Dalits and backward, Congress wants to give it to its vote bank. It was going to do the same in Haryana. Congress wants to weaken the country by weakening the Indian society, by spreading anarchy in India. That is why they are instigating different sections, constantly trying to ignite a fire. The country saw how attempts were made to instigate the farmers, but the farmers of Haryana gave them a befitting reply that they are with the country, they are with the BJP.
He said that he repeatedly talks about the 4 pillars for a developed India – farmers, youth, women and poor. Be it Jammu and Kashmir or Haryana, we are moving towards building a developed India on the basis of development of these four pillars. Empowering them is the priority of the BJP. He also condemned the Congress for questioning the constitutional institutions of the country and mentioned the international conspiracies going on against India.
While mentioning many achievements of the government, the Prime Minister also targeted the Congress and the Gandhi family. After the conclusion of the program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also held separate meetings with party president and Union Minister JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
