Muslims offered Friday prayers wearing black bands in protest against Pahalgam terror attack

New Delhi, April 25 . There is an atmosphere of anger across the country over the Pahalgam terror attack. Everyone is demanding strict action against the terrorists. Meanwhile, on Friday, during Friday prayers in many states of the country including Delhi, people of the Muslim community protested by tying black bands on their hands. They also demanded strict action against the terrorists from the government.

AIMIM spokesperson Shoaib Jamai, while talking to IANS, said, “What happened in Pahalgam is very unfortunate for the country and we curse the terrorists who carried out this heinous incident. Our party’s national president Asaduddin Owaisi protested against the Pahalgam terror attack. He has also said in the all-party meeting held on Thursday that he will stand with the government in every step. Today, Friday prayers were offered by tying black bands on hands in protest against the Pahalgam attack.”

He further said, “The government should also be asked why there was no security despite Jammu and Kashmir being a very sensitive area? The tourists themselves have said that Kashmiris helped us and saved our lives. But, people kept suffering for an hour after the incident, but no relief reached them. The government has also admitted that there has been a security lapse, but whatever action the government takes to eliminate the terrorists, we stand with the government. However, some people sitting in our country are trying to create a rift between Hindus and Muslims under the guise of this incident, which is a matter of concern for us.”

Jumma ki namaz was offered peacefully at Jama Masjid in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. During this, prayers were also offered for peace in the country and for the peace of the souls of the tourists killed in the Pahalgam attack.

Namaz-e-Zeeshan Ansari said in a conversation with IANS that prayers were offered for the victims of Pahalgam during the Friday prayers. We appeal that peace and harmony should prevail in the country and we express our condolences to all those who have been killed in Pahalgam.

Namaz Mohammad Aslam said that humanity has been murdered in Pahalgam. Neither any Hindu nor any Muslim has died in the Pahalgam attack, but only humanity has been killed there. I am saddened by the death of the tourists and would appeal to everyone to pray for the families of the deceased.

Namaz Saif Qureshi condemned the Pahalgam attack. He said that during Friday prayers, prayers were offered for the dead in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The incident of Pahalgam is condemnable, terrorists have no religion or caste. We oppose this terrorist incident and demand that the government take strict action against the terrorists.

Apart from this, another Namazi said that Imam Sahab offered prayers for the people killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack during Friday prayers. He appealed to maintain brotherhood and peace in the country.

People of the Muslim community protested outside the Asifi Mosque in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, after the Friday prayers. During this, they demanded strict action against the terrorists. They also raised slogans of ‘Murdabad’ against Pakistan.

A protest was also held in Teele Wali Mosque of Lucknow regarding the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Imam Fazlul Mannan Rahmani of Teele Wali Mosque told IANS, “I had appealed to all the people to protest against the Pahalgam terrorist attack and said that during Friday prayers, they should come to offer namaz with black bands tied on their hands. Today we have offered Friday prayers with black bands tied on them. I condemn the Pahalgam attack and I will say that whatever decision the Indian government takes, the Muslims of the country stand with them. If India fights a war, then our army has full support.”

People of the Muslim community in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, offered Friday prayers with black bands tied on them. During this, they demanded strict action against Pakistan.

Talking to IANS, Namaji said that we condemn the cowardly act that has been committed in Kashmir. Pakistan does not want Kashmir to develop, that is why Pakistan continuously prepares terrorists and carries out attacks here. I will appeal to the government that they should keep a strict vigil on the border area so that no one can enter India without permission.

Namaji Arbaaz said that since the Pahalgam attack, our blood is boiling, the way the terrorists have shed the blood of our brothers. The central government should take strict action against them.
