New Delhi | Pictures of road collapse due to rain in Delhi are continuously coming out. The road suddenly collapsed under the IIT flyover on Saturday morning. Soon a huge gap started appearing on the road. However, there was no loss of life or property during this period. At the same time, the traffic police personnel, showing alertness, stopped the traffic immediately and stopped the vehicles from going towards the pit.

Due to the submergence of the road, a pit of about 10 feet has formed, while due to the drain under the road, water is continuously flowing in it. At present, traffic has been diverted by putting barricades around the pit under the IIT flyover.

On the other hand, Delhi Traffic Police said that due to the collapse of the road near IIT Red Light, traffic going from Adhchini to IIT has been diverted from Adhchini to Katwaria Sarai.

Although the pictures of the pit built under the IIT flyover on social media have become the subject of much discussion, not only this, the Delhi government is also being criticized for this.

In the morning, once again, questions are being raised on the promises made by the Delhi government from the suddenly sunken road, on one hand, the dreams were shown to the public by the Delhi government, while the rain of a few days has started the work of destroying the talks of the government.

It has been raining incessantly in Delhi for the past few days, due to which people got relief from the heat, but the problem has also arisen due to waterlogging in places.
