ROBBERY CASE SOLVED WITH THE ARREST OF ONE DESPERATE ROBBER CUM SNATCHER ALSO BAD CHARACTER (BC) OF THE AREA WITHIN 05 HOURS FROM THE INCIDENT, BY THE TEAM OF PS GULABI BAGH, NORTH DISTRIC, DELHI
New Delhi: On 18.02.2023 during morning hours, the complainant Shri Vikash Kumar R/o Village Sihor PS Kanona, District Mahindergarh, Haryana, age-28 years, (who is Assistant Professor in Degree College in Mahendergarh, Haryana) approached PS Gulabi Bagh and reported that during morning hours he reached Kishan Ganj Railway Station, Delhi by Sainik Express Train from his home town for appearing in examination to be held on Sunday. At about 06:00 AM, when he reached at Kishan Ganj Railway Station stairs, two persons were standing on the stairs of Kisan Ganj Railway Station. One of them grabbed the neck of complainant from his backside and another person robbed his mobile phone, make Realme and Rs. 1,700/- from his pocket and both of them fled away from the spot.
TEAM & OPERATION:
On the seriousness of the offence, a dedicated police team under the leadership of SI Ganga Pal (In-charge PP Anda Mugal), comprising of ASI Om Prakash, and Ct Parvesh was formed to nab the culprits, under the close supervision of ACP Samar Singh, SHO/PS Gulabi Bagh and guidance of Shri Prashant Chaudhary, ACP/Sub-Division, Sarai Rohilla. Consequently, the above said team alongwith complainant rushed to the place of occurrence.
The complainant was examined in details to find out any clue about the culprits and search of alleged persons was conducted at nearby places. Ultimately, the dedicated efforts of the team bore fruits, when at about 10:15 AM they succeeded in apprehending the accused identified as Vishal, age-22 years while he was sitting on a motorcycle, make Hero Sports at Ganda Nala near Red Light of Gulabi Bagh for committing another crime who was also identified by the complainant. On his personal search, the part of robbed cash Rs. 1,000/- (out of 1,700/-) was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 68/22 dated 18.02.2023 u/s 392/411/34 IPC was registered at PS Gulabi Bagh and investigation was taken up.
INTERROGATION:
During interrogation, the accused Vishal, age-22 years confessed about his involvement along with his associate namely Sagar, r/o Nai Basti, Sarai Rohilla, Delhi in the present case of Robbery of mobile phone and cash Rs. 1700/- from the complainant early in the morning hours at Kishan Ganj Railway Station stairs. Further, the accused disclosed that he and his associate shared the robbed cash among themselves and the robbed mobile phone was given to his associate for selling the same.
On sustained interrogation, it revealed that the accused Vishal, age-22 years is a habitual criminal with the history of involvements in 04 cases under the heads of Robbery and Snatching registered against him in PS Gulabi Bagh, Delhi. He is an active BC of PS Gulabi Bagh who was recently released from jail about a week ago and again started to commit criminal activities with his associates.
The accused is a school dropout and has studied up to 9th standard only and he also a drug addict. He started to commit crime to earn easy money by selling robbed and snatched articles as well as to finance his lust of drugs.
Subsequently, at the instance of arrested accused person, raids were conducted at the possible hideouts of the co-accused Sagar, but he was found absconding.

• Vishal R/o Pratap Nagar, Delhi, age-22 years. (Previously found involved in 04 cases of Robbery and Snatching registered at PS Gulabi Bagh, Delhi. He is an active BC of PS Gulabi Bagh. He was released from jail about a week ago).
RECOVERY:
• Part of robbed cash Rs. 1,000/-
Further investigation of the case is in progress and efforts are being made to arrest the co-accused Sagar and affect remaining recovery of robbed cash and mobile phone.
