Pranab Mukherjee corona postive news: The corona epidemic is spreading in the country. In addition to the commoners, many celebrities are suffering from corona. Former President Pranab Mukherjee has recently joined the list. He himself revealed this via Twitter. Pranab Mukherjee said that if he goes to the hospital for other reasons, Covid 19 has been confirmed positive. Pranab Mukherjee was advised to undergo self-isolation and undergo corona tests during the weeks he met him last week as he is corona positive.

In India, 62064 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. The total number of cases reached 2215074. The total number of deaths has reached 44386 with 1007 deaths in the last 24 hours. It is a matter of concern that more than 1000 deaths occur in the country in 24 hours. However, while the death rate in the world is 3.67, in India it is only 2 per cent. In the last 24 hours, 54859 people have recovered in India. The total number of recoveries reached 1535743. The recovery rate reached 69.3. It is also increasing day by day in the country. Hence the nations of the world feel that India can effectively deal with the corona. There are currently 634945 active cases in the country.

Govt allows Dexamethasone injection or tablet in India for Covid patients

The govt allows the use of steroid drug dexamethasone injection or tablet to treat Covid-19 patients in India. Dexamethasone brand name and its dosage. Dexamethasone is an inexpensive and widely used steroid, was included in the treatment protocol for Covid-19 patients.

The updated protocol includes the advice to use dexamethasone as an alternative choice to methylprednisolone. The change has been made after considering the latest available evidence and expert consultation, the ministry said.

Why Dexamethasone injection or tablet?

According to WHO, the corticosteroid dexamethasone was tested in hospitalised patients with Covid-19 in the United Kingdom’s national clinical trial ‘RECOVERY’ and was found to have benefits for critically ill patients.
Dexamethasone already used in treating lung infections. It is a corticosteroid drug used in a wide range of conditions for its anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant effects.

Dexamethasone brand name

Decadron is the name for dexamethasone. Dexasone and diodex or hexadrol are synonyms for dexamethasone. Health care professionals may use the name decadron or other names dexasone or diodex or hexadrol when referring to the generic drug name dexamethasone.

Dexamethasone dosage

Take this medication by mouth as prescribed by the doctor. Take with food or milk to prevent stomach ulcer or infection. Take this medication by mouth with a glass of water. Best advice would be to consult a doctor before taking it.

India’s Covid situation so far

Union Health Minister on Saturday said India’s recovery rate was nearly 60 per cent, while the fatality rate was near 3 per cent. The doubling rate is now 19 days. “Our mortality/fatality rate is near 3 per cent which is very less. Our doubling rate has come down to near 19 days, which was three days before the lockdown,” he said. Of the total 5,08,953 Covid-19 cases, 2,95,881 people have recovered, so far.
According to preliminary findings shared with WHO, for patients on ventilators, the treatment was shown to reduce mortality by about one-third, and for patients requiring only oxygen, mortality was cut by about one-fifth. Dexamethasone in india is available at Rs 50 per strip.

Delhi corona city: Delhi becomes worst affected corona city

Delhi had been ranking second in the list of the worst affected Corona cities in India, but yesterday, Delhi city has crossed the numbers in Mumbai.
The death toll in the national capital totaled to 2,365, 64 added in the last 24 hours.

However, Mumbai is still ahead as far as the number of covid-19 deaths are concerned, its current number is 3,964.

According to epidemiologists, Delhi has been experiencing a rise in cases primarily because of testing, which has now started happening on a large scale.

Public Health Foundation of India advises on the continued use of masks and following strict social distancing to prevent the spread of infection.
