Amarnathji Shrine Board: Amarnath Yatra 2020 dates announced

Srinagar: Amarnath Yatra dates were announced amid the Corona epidemic. This year, the journey will start from July 21 and continue till August 3. Meanwhile, ‘Pratham Pooja’ was also organized for the yatra on Friday. Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) officials gave this Amarnath Yatra dates information. However, due to the corona virus epidemic, this time travel period has been cut.

Amarnath Yatra Corona Virus: Except for pilgrims, only those below 55 years of age will be allowed in other pilgrims. All people traveling must have a COVID 19 negative certificate. “The pilgrims will be cross-checked for the virus before they are allowed to start the journey to Jammu and Kashmir,” a SASB official said. All pilgrims, except the sages, must register online for the journey.

Amarnath Yatra 2020 will conclude on Shravan Purnima or Raksha Bandhan

The Yatra 2020 will only pass through the North Kashmir Baltal route. Officials said, “No pilgrims will be allowed to travel through Pahalgam route this year.” The Yatra 2020 will conclude on 3 August on Shravan Purnima, the day of the festival of Raksha Bandhan.
