Thackeray led the delegation to meet the PM regarding the issues of Maharashtra

Mumbai | Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday led a delegation to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and discussed a dozen pending issues of the state. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and PWD Minister Ashok Chavan were also present in the meeting. During this, Thackeray raised the issues of Maratha reservation, GST arrears of the state, Mumbai Metro crashed damage due to cyclone Thawte, farmers, crop insurance scheme.

Thackeray later told media persons, “We had a good discussion with the PM on various pending issues of the state. The PM listened to us patiently. We hope he will make a positive decision in this matter. I thank the PM.”

He said the delegation was satisfied with the outcome and was confident that the Prime Minister would take appropriate action on all matters raised with them.
