Tulsi Vivah 2020: Remember these things during Tulsi Puja, otherwise…

Tulsi Vivah 2020: The festival of Tulsi Vivah 2020 Shaligram will be celebrated with pomp across the country on 25 November. This festival Tulsi Puja or Tulsi Vivah is celebrated every year on the Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha in Kartik month. Dev Uthani Ekadashi 2020 is also celebrated on the day of the Tulsi wedding. This day has special significance in Hinduism.

On this auspicious day, Tulsi Maa is married to Bhagwan Shaligram. Shaligram is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Lakshmi to Lord Vishnu and Tulsi ji. On this day both of them are married with full custom. But some things must be kept in mind on the day of Tulsi Puja.

Light a lamp in the evening

Tulsi Puja 2020: Tulsi plant should be burnt daily and lamps should be lit at dusk. Remember to keep water and lamps on the basil plant on the day of Tulsi’s wedding. By offering water and placing a lamp on Tulsi, the grace of Maa Lakshmi always rests on you. Also, do not offer water on Tulsi plant on Sunday.

Avoid meat and alcohol

Tulsi Puja 2020: During Tulsi Puja, do not forget to consume meat, liquor and intoxicants. Also, never consume these things near the basil plant. At the same time, people who wear Tulsi Mala should always keep a distance from these things.

Take special care of the direction

Never plant a basil plant in the south direction of the house. Tulsi plant should always be planted in North-East or North Direction. This gives it auspicious results.

Apply basil in a pot

Always plant a basil plant in a pot. According to the belief, a basil plant planted in the ground is considered inauspicious. It has a negative effect on the home.
