UP government cautious about Global Investors Summit-23 in Lucknow

Lucknow | The three-day Global Investors Summit (GIS-23) starting February 10 in Lucknow will be a zero-waste event, with the government deputing 1,150 sanitation workers and installing 100 steel dustbins at the venue. Along with this, 250 toilets have been constructed at the venue under the Vrindavan scheme.

According to the spokesperson of government, efforts are being made to ensure that people do not face any kind of trouble due to the movement of VVIPs and alternative routes are also being prepared.

Also to ensure that the VVIPs reach the venue on time from their hotels, a route map with the time taken to reach the venue from their location will be made available at the hotel reception. Drivers will be given information about routes and parking areas.

The government has arranged 45 hotels and three tent cities for the delegates to stay.

The information about the route diversion will be publicized in social media and print media, the spokesperson said.

Resident welfare associations will also be informed about the route diversion. A public consultation will be issued before the arrival of the President and the Prime Minister. A mechanic will be kept ready in case of any breakdown of the vehicle.
