Trump makes Vijay Shankar judge of the Supreme Court in Washington

Trump wants to make Indian-American Vijay Shankar the judge of the Supreme Court in Washington DC. Shankar will serve as an associate judge of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals if the Senate approves his name. He got BA degree Duke University.

Washington, US President Donald Trump has announced his intention to nominate Indian-American Vijay Shankar as a Supreme Court judge in Washington DC. If the Senate approves his name, Shankar will serve as an associate judge of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Explain that this court is the supreme court for Washington DC.

Currently, Vijay Shankar serves as the senior prosecuting attorney and deputy head of the appeals section in the crime branch of the Justice Department. Prior to taking up this position in 2012, he has privately advocated in Washington DC, Mayor Brown’s Office, LLC & Covington & Burling, LLP.
