3 policemen killed in a bomb blast in Afghanistan

Kabul | Three police officers were killed and two civilians injured in two separate bombings in Afghanistan. Authorities have confirmed this. In eastern Legman province, three officers of the Afghan National Police (ANP) were killed. The incident took place on the outskirts of the provincial capital Mehtralam city when an armored vehicle was blown up by a roadside bomb in Umarajai.

In a second incident, two civilians were seriously injured in a roadside bomb blast in Kalay-e-Jala district on Sunday morning, in northern Kunduz province, according to the Xinhua News AJC. The spokesman of the provincial government, Esmatullah Muradi gave this information.

Terrorists in Afghanistan use IEDs to target security forces in which ordinary civilians are also killed.
