New Delhi: National crush Tripti Dimri, who made her debut with ‘Poster Boys’ in 2017, will soon be seen in the upcoming film ‘Bad News’. The actress, who has done drama films so far, said that she found comedy roles difficult from the beginning, but she believes that it is important to maintain variety in roles as an artist.
During a press conference in Delhi, Tripti Dimri said, “I have always worked in drama films, but I think it is very important to keep doing different things and keep challenging yourself as an artist. I find comedy a bit difficult from the beginning.”
The ‘Laila Majnu’ actress said, “So, in a way, it has been really good for me.”
The actress thanked director Anand Tiwari, who made his directorial debut with ‘Love Per Square Foot’ in 2018.
The actress said, “I want to thank Anand sir from the bottom of my heart for giving me this opportunity. You might not have seen me doing comedy of that level before. It was difficult for me to work with Vicky Kaushal and Amy Virk, because they are very talented actors and their comic timing is also very good.”
Tripti Dimri said, “It was difficult for me, but it was a good learning experience. I think in life I would like to do action, drama, comedy and all kinds of roles.”
Bad News, a sequel to the 2019 film ‘Good News’, is the story of Saloni Bagga, who becomes the mother of twins from two men.
