Gurugram, October 13 An incident of firing came to light on Sunday in Hiranagar area of Gurugram, Haryana. Three miscreants who came on a bike shot a scooty rider and fled from the spot. Local people took the victim to the hospital. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed nearby.
The incident took place in Hiranagar under Shivaji Nagar police station area of Gurugram. People in the area are scared due to this incident that happened in broad daylight.
Regarding the firing incident, SHO of Shivaji Nagar police station told IANS, “The injured is admitted in ICU, where his condition remains critical. All the accused are still out of reach, but they will be arrested soon. Prima facie, it seems to be a case of old rivalry.”
It is clear from the CCTV footage that three accused had carried out this attack together. One was already sitting in a nearby shop. While, the other two accused came there later on a bike. The accused waited for the scooty rider and as soon as he came, all three rode on the bike and moved ahead. At a short distance, they stopped the scooty rider and fired three-four rounds at him.
By the time the locals could understand anything, the accused fled from there. The injured remained at the spot for some time, where he bled a lot. Later, some people took him to a private hospital.
The injured scooty rider has been identified as Sandeep, whose condition remains critical. Initial investigation has revealed that Sandeep and Manjeet Dhanda were business partners and had started doing separate businesses some time ago. Due to this rivalry, Manjeet Dhanda along with his associates opened fire on Sandeep.
After the incident, Gurugram Police reached the spot and started investigating the case.
