New Delhi: Hindu College is proud to announce the inauguration of the S N P Punj Memorial Knowledge Centre for E-Learning, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to empowering students with cutting-edge digital learning tools. The centre will be inaugurated by Padma Bhushan Dr. Arvind Panagariya, Chairman of the 16th Finance Commission of India, on January 27, 2025.
Prof Anju Srivastava said that ‘the S. N. P. Punj Memorial Knowledge Center for E-Learning is a tribute to S. N. P. Punj, a visionary entrepreneur, educationist, and philanthropist. He served as the Chairman of the Governing Body of Hindu College from 2013 to 2020. He spearheaded an ambitious project to enhance the college’s infrastructure, initiating work in 2014. His generous contributions have left a lasting impact on Hindu College, fostering an environment of growth and innovation. He is remembered as the visionary behind the modern development of Hindu College. This Centre stands as a tribute to his legacy, made possible through the generous contributions of his sons, Atul Punj and Uday Punj.’
This S N P Punj memorial Knowledge centre for e-learning centre aims to provide students with unparalleled access to digital resources, enabling them to excel in academics and skill development. Equipped with modern technology, the centre will serve as a hub for collaborative learning, research, and digital education, furthering the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, she further said.
Dr. Arvind Panagariya, a distinguished economist and policy expert, will grace the occasion and share his insights on the role of technology and education in shaping India’s future.
The event will be held at the Hindu College campus and is expected to draw eminent personalities from academia, business, and public service.
