Noida/Neemuch/Moradabad, August 15. Preparations have been completed in temples across the country for the holy festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. This time around five lakh devotees are expected to come to the ISKCON temple in Noida. The temple has been decorated grandly with colorful lights and flowers. The temple premises and surrounding areas have been equipped with CCTV cameras, while Noida Police has made extensive arrangements for security. Traffic police and local police station police will be deployed in large numbers, so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.
A unique confluence of devotion and beauty is being seen in Krishna temples across the country. The beauty of the temples has increased with attractive lighting, colorful flowers and chandeliers. At the same time, preparations are also in full swing at the famous Sanwariya Seth temple and Bichla Gopal temple in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh.
Pandit Lalit Kumar Sharma, priest of Bichla Gopal Mandir, said that a tableau of Brij Vihar is being decorated in this 200-year-old temple. Lord Shri Gopal will have a divine decoration, Kaal Sandhya Aarti will be performed at 7 pm and Janmotsav will be celebrated with great pomp at 12 midnight. Prasad will be distributed by offering Makhan-Mishri and Panjri. The temple has been decorated with lights and flowers.
Similarly, Pandit Rajendra Purohit, priest of Sanwariya Seth Mandir, said that on Janmashtami, the Lord will be anointed with Vedic mantras in the morning. The temple has been decorated with flowers. A bhajan evening will be organized by the Mahila Mandal and Janmotsav will be celebrated at 12 midnight.
At the same time, the enthusiasm of Janmashtami is at its peak in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. People are busy buying Lord Krishna’s costumes, flutes, peacock feathers and flowers in the markets. Parents are buying special costumes to decorate their children as Chhota Kanha. A glimpse of Kanha’s ride is also being seen in the markets.
The temples have been decorated with lights and flowers, where devotees are flocking for darshan. Moradabad police has arranged route diversion to control the crowd. This festival of Janmashtami has brought a unique confluence of devotion, enthusiasm and faith. Lord Krishna’s birth anniversary will be celebrated with great pomp in the temples with bhajan-kirtan, tableaux and special events.
