KABUL| At least 30 militants were killed in an airstrike targeting Taliban fighters in Afghanistan’s Ghazni province on Friday. A government official gave this information. Provincial government spokesman Wahidullah Jumzada told Xinhua, “A group of Taliban rebels had gathered in Karsi area of Qarabagh district to damage the security posts, but planes of the security forces attacked early Friday and killed 30 militants. . ”
The officer said that ten more terrorists were injured in the raid.
Jumzada said that no security personnel or civilian was harmed in the attack.
No comment has been made so far by Taliban militants.
