New Delhi, May 7. After the success of Operation Sindoor, the central government has called an all-party meeting on May 8 at 11 am. Senior ministers, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, will represent the government.

The agenda of the meeting focuses on briefing the opposition leaders about Operation Sindoor and discussing future action on national security matters.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju shared the information on the social media platform X and said, “The government has called a meeting of all-party leaders in Committee Room: G-074 in Parliament Library Building, Parliament Complex in New Delhi on May 8, 2025, at 11 am.”

At the same time, in the Union Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave detailed information about this operation and praised the bravery of the Indian Army. Cabinet ministers congratulated PM Modi for this successful operation and expressed full confidence in his leadership. According to sources, PM Modi remained in touch with the National Security Advisor and military commanders throughout the night so that the operation could be completed smoothly as per the plan.

At the same time, the Indian Army, Air Force and Ministry of External Affairs held a joint press briefing regarding ‘Operation Sindoor’, in which Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Air Force Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Indian Army Colonel Sofia Qureshi participated. Military officials also showed clips of the attack on terrorist hideouts.

Colonel Sofia Qureshi said about this operation, “‘Operation Sindoor’ was launched to provide justice to the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack. 9 terrorist camps were targeted and destroyed. Terrorist infrastructure was being built in Pakistan for the last three decades, which is spread in both Pakistan and PoK. The first target in PoK was Sawai Nala Camp in Muzaffarabad, which is located 30 kilometers from the Line of Control. It was the training center of Lashkar-e-Taiba. The terrorists involved in the attacks in Sonamarg on 20 October 2024, Gulmarg on 24 October 2024 and Pahalgam on 22 April 2025 received training from here.” “The strikes were carried out between 1.05 am and 1.30 am. Nine terror camps were targeted and successfully destroyed under ‘Operation Sindoor’.
