Around 50 MPs, including the detained Rahul Gandhi, were kept in Kingsway Camp

Rahul Gandhi detained by Delhi Police (Ld)

New Delhi| Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who was detained by the Delhi Police on Tuesday, has been kept in the new police line at Kingsway Police Camp in the national capital. A Delhi Police official gave this information. Amrita Guguloth, Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi District) said, “Around 50 MPs along with Rahul Gandhi were detained from the North Fountain near Parliament. They have been detained at Kingsway Camp.”

Rahul was detained during a protest march by the Congress party from Parliament to Rashtrapati Bhavan. However, as the MPs proceeded to submit a memorandum to President Draupadi Murmu, the Delhi Police intercepted them near Vijay Chowk.

After this, Congress MPs including Rahul Gandhi sat on a dharna in the middle of the road near Parliament and raised slogans against the investigating agency ED and the central government.

Later, several other leaders including Rahul Gandhi were detained by the police and taken on a bus to the new Police Lines of Kingsway Police Camp.
