Asteroid 4 times taller than Qutub Minar moving towards Earth, next few hours are very Critical

An Asteroid four times taller than Qutub Minar is moving fast towards the earth and today is going to be very important.

Recently, a meteorite had fallen in Rajasthan causing panic among the people and meanwhile, there is a news that a large asteroid is growing towards the earth. It is moving fast and its size is four times larger than Qutub Minar. It will come closer to the earth today, 24th of June and in such a situation the next few hours are going to be very important. Actually, this planet can pass 37 lakh kilometers from the earth on that day and scientists consider any high-speed astronomical body passing through the radius of 75 lakh kilometers of the Earth.

The asteroid that is coming up is estimated to be 1017 feet long and 310 meters in diameter and is about to pass close to the Earth at 12.15 pm on 24 June. It is named 2010NY65.

4 times taller than Qutub Minar

According to the information available by NASA regarding, its name is 2010NY65, which is moving at a speed of 46,500 km per hour. Its size is 15 times larger than the meteorite that fell in Russia in 2013. Also four times taller than Qutub Minar. The Asteroid that fell in Russia injured 1000 people and damaged people’s homes.

This will be the third incident of asteroid passing close to the Earth in June. Earlier on June 6 and June 8, two Asteroids passed close to the Earth.

What are Asteroids?

Asteroids are actually small celestial bodies orbiting around the Sun. They are mainly found in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.
