BJP has emerged as a “serial killer” today by systematically toppling democratically elected governments; BJP should rather put this energy into building schools and hospitals for people but it has no interest in it :Manish Sisodia

NEW DELHI: Today the Delhi Model of Governance spearheaded by CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal is being applauded all over the world, by the biggest newspapers of the developed countries. This is creating insecurity among people sitting in the power in the BJP-led central government. They are not interested in making the country No.1 in the world or a developed country, and they don’t want to let others work on this agenda too. In the past 75 years of independence, none of their governments ever worked on education and health and now when a political party-AAP is making efforts, they are trying to break the party instead of taking inspiration from AAP’s work and implementing it in other parts of the country. In the country today, BJP led central government is working like a “serial killer”, wherever they get to know about the good work of any government, they just start planning to kill that government, a murder that government and destroy them. These were the words of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, when he targeted the Central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for killing the state governments with the help of CBI and ED for doing good works for public welfare. He was addressing the Delhi Legislative Assembly during the special session on Friday.

The Deputy Chief Minister said, “On August 19, when I was celebrating Janmashtami peacefully with my family. I got to know that a prestigious international newspaper New York Times has published a news article about the “Delhi Education Revolution” on its front page. Like every Indian, it was a moment of pride and I was trying to absorb this news. But, in the meanwhile, I got to know that CBI was standing at my door. For a moment I thought, “Is getting published on the front page of the NYT a crime?”” He further told the assembly that CBI was allowed inside and they handed over the FIR to him, which was totally based on sources and there was a list of all false allegations in it. They searched every nook and corner of the house but could not find anything. There was nothing in the FIR, it was evident that CBI had been working under the pressure of someone who wanted to create a mess in Delhi. This might be the first-ever FIR in the country where all the allegations were based on the claims of sources. CBI searched the house for 14 hours, also raided Delhi Secretariat but got nothing. “In the end they could only collect a few official papers from the house, a few files from the secretariat and my personal mobile phone and computer,” said Shri Sisodia.

Shri Manish Sisodia, in his address further said, “I have always worked with honesty as a Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi. For the past 7 years, my mornings start in Delhi government schools, by meeting students, teachers, principals and parents. We discussed taking the education system of the country forward under the leadership of CM Arvind Kejriwal. We have been dedicatedly working on transforming the education system in the national capital and if this is a crime, I am ready to serve the punishment for it.”

“Let me put it in clear words here, the real reason behind the BJP led central government’s actions is the news published in the world’s most sought after newspaper NewYork Times on “Delhi Education Model l” and revolutionary works being done here. People sitting in power in the central government are extremely narrow minded and think very low. In the past 75 years of Independence, this has been the strategy of the central government to pull down the governments who try to do good work for public welfare. Why can’t the BJP focus on doing better works, they also have governments across the country. The amount of energy and time they waste on planning the downfall of state governments, they could have easily used that energy and time for developing the nation, building schools and hospitals. People choose governments with a hope to have better standards of living, expect better works from governments but the BJP-led central government kills the government like a “serial killer”. Today the central government is working like a “serial killer” in the country. As soon as they get to know that any state government is doing good work, they start planning for its downfall.,”  said the Deputy Chief Minister in his address. He added that today CM Arvind Kejriwal is being applauded for his good works across the world and it is not fake like the central government’s FIR.

Shri Manish Sisodia said, “Till 2015, government schools in Delhi were famous with the names like “tent wala school”, “khadde wala school” and “tin shade wala school”. Government schools in Delhi did not have proper names till 2015, there used to be no school buildings on  grounds. In the past 7 years, the Kejriwal government has built 700 new schools and these are not just buildings. There are students studying in them and building their bright future. Now people refer to Delhi government schools as schools from where students are qualifying for NEET and IIT. Schools have swimming pools, world class labs and laboratories to give quality education to every child of Delhi. During this time, 19,000 teachers have been recruited in Delhi government schools. This has improved the quality of education in schools, students’ confidence has increased, and PM Narendra Modi is getting the raids done at my place for corruption. He is using the CBI to get the fake FIR registered in my name.”

He said, “At this place, if CM Arvind Kejriwal would have been the Prime Minister of the country, I would have been the education minister doing work, in any part of the country, then he would have not done such a lousy act. Because he does not have such a narrow mind. He would have praised me and asked about my work for implementing it in other parts of the country.” He added that whenever PM Modi takes any good initiatives, CM Arvind Kejriwal always praises him, stands with him. On one side the country has CM Arvind Kejriwal, who praises the good works of the PM also and on other hand the country has PM Narendra Modi, who starts feeling insecure if some other party in another state does good work. “I have never seen such an insecure person in my life, like PM Modi,” said Shri Manish Sisodia.

Shri Manish Sisodia said that continuous conspiracy against the state government shows the low thinking of PM Modi and this is the reason why India still lags behind many small countries in the world, in the field of education and health. If today, India is compared to other countries in the world, then the average amount of education that is being imparted to children in India is 6 years, which is equal to a small country like Bangladesh, and little more than another small country like Pakistan. Among the developed countries, in the US, UK and Japan this average is of 13 years, in Germany it is 14 years, even South Africa has 10 years. Countries like Japan and Germany which faced the war at the same time as India, are also providing an average education of 13-14 years. It is for sure that, this is because, in their history they would have never seen politicians like those in India. Their central government would not have sent investigating agencies behind all ministers in the country.

He said, “Whatever damage has been made to the country, we are trying to cover for it by improving the education system and health system in the country. Many people migrate to Delhi from UP, Jharkhand and Chattisgarh for various jobs including those of rickshaw pullers, cab drivers and laundry, their children are getting quality education and getting admission in IITs and AIIMS.” The child of a laundry man in Dwarka’s apartment is studying aeronautics engineering from IIT Bombay, while a housemaid’s daughter from the slum of Khichripur is doing MBBS after clearing NEET. Today the public is happy with the works of Arvind Kejriwal and is looking forward to a bright future, while seeing these good works, the BJP is seeing its future being ruined. BJP thinks that if the children will get educated, then there will be no one left to take forward their message of hatred and hooliganism in the country.

Shri Manish Sisodia said that this will be the first issue of corruption in the history of the country in which the government has also benefited and the public has also benefited. Earlier the government used to get a license fee of 10 lakhs, now liquor shops were asked to pay Rs 5 crores. The revenue from these shops was increased from Rs 6 crores to 10 crores. What kind of corruption is this?.On TV debate, some BJP spokesperson says corruption of 10,000 crores, another 8,000 crores, some 1100 crores corruption, then some 144 crores and then CBI registers cases according to the sources. He said that the CBI headquarters has now been converted into the BJP headquarters, but these people should sit in their offices and first decide how much corruption has happened.

Shri Manish Sisodia said that earlier BJP created an atmosphere against me, got CBI raid done, but CBI got nothing and now if ED comes, it will also not get anything. He said, “ I was sent a message saying tat if I break the AAP and join BJP, all the CBI-ED cases will be revoked, and I will be made the CM. But my spirit is not easily breakable, so how is it possible to break the party MLAs?

He said that I did not come to politics to become Chief Minister, minister or sit on any post. I have come to change education and support Arvind Kejriwal, working under his guidance because he is the only leader who can work to provide better health and education facilities to every person of India. Today, children in the country are getting an average of 6 years of education, he can take it up to 14-15 years.

Shri Manish Sisodia said that this is a conspiracy by the BJP to topple the government elected by the people of Delhi. This is a conspiracy to keep the children of Delhi illiterate so that they can be used for their hooliganism. He said that the people of Delhi have chosen the Kejriwal Government with love and respect. We have come from the power of the vote of the people of Delhi, so no one can buy us.
