New Delhi: The Chairperson of NDMC, Shri Keshav Chandra, today launched a first ever career guidance counseling programme aimed at supporting more than 7000 students of Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya and Navyug Schools studying in 9th to 12th class of NDMC schools. The programme will be conducted by “Aasman Foundation” and “iDream Career”.
This initiative will include the students going through a psychometric assessment test, followed by one-on-one guidance from the counseling team to help the students to select the various career paths available to them for their career journey according to their interests, personality and aptitude levels. Each student shall be provided with a 16-pages analysis report and an information portal with a well researched content of 560+ careers, 1000+ Exams and Scholarships, 25000+ colleges.
This was a momentous occasion for NDMC when the Chairperson also launched a helpline for counseling students for careers, stress and time management, Exam anxiety and Board Exam Preparation, available to them on a mere phone call. Aasman Foundation also conducted a workshop for 240 NDMC Principals and Teachers, on how to guide the students effectively with the help of the counselors.
This program is an alignment with NEP 2020, and equipping the upcoming generation for their future careers and to become global citizens.
