Controversy deepens in LJP, Paras became national president, said, ‘got a chance to take the party forward’

Patna| The internal dispute of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) is deepening. In the meeting of Paras faction held in Patna on Thursday, Pashupati Kumar Paras has been elected as the national president. After being elected as the President, expressing gratitude to all the leaders of the party, he said that we have got an opportunity to become the national president, efforts will be made to take the party forward and fulfill the dream of Ram Vilas Paswan.

Prior to this, he had become the chairman of the parliamentary board.

Amidst the ongoing controversy in LJP, a meeting of the national executive was organized by the faction of Pashupati Paras regarding this election, in which MP Paras was elected unopposed as the president.

Giving information about being elected president in a press conference, Paras said that there is no dispute in the party, that is why he has been elected unopposed.

Paras requested the leaders who had left the LJP to come back to the party and said that those leaders who have left the party due to any reason, they should come back. He also apologized to such leaders for the mistake committed in the party.

He said that it would be his endeavor to fulfill the dream of his elder brother and former Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan.

It is noteworthy that the internal dispute in LJP has deepened. Recently, out of the six MPs of the party, five MPs have formed a separate faction. Here, LJP President Chirag Paswan has expelled the five MPs Pashupati Paras, Mehboob Ali Kaiser, Bina Devi Chandan Singh and Prince Raj from the party.
