Delhi Elections 2025: Kejriwal, Sisodia and these bigwigs lost, know who won the VIP seats

New Delhi, February 8. The results of the Delhi Assembly elections were declared on Saturday. After 27 years, the BJP is moving towards capturing power in Delhi.

According to the Election Commission, the BJP has become the largest party with 48 seats. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is at number two with 22 seats. Let us know the results of the major seats of Delhi.

Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has lost from the New Delhi Assembly seat. BJP’s Pravesh Verma defeated Kejriwal by 4,089 votes, while Congress’ Sandeep Dixit remained at number three.

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has won in a close contest from Kalkaji Assembly seat. He defeated BJP’s Ramesh Bidhuri by 3,521 votes, while Congress candidate Alka Lamba remained at third place.

Apart from this, Aam Aadmi Party candidate Manish Sisodia lost by 675 votes in a close contest from Jangpura assembly seat. BJP’s Tarvinder Singh Marwah won here, while Congress’ Farhad Suri remained at third place.

AAP’s Satyendra Jain lost by 20,998 votes from Shakur Basti assembly seat. He was defeated by BJP’s Karnail Singh, who got 56,869 votes.

Aam Aadmi Party’s Saurabh Bhardwaj lost by 3,188 votes from Greater Kailash assembly seat. BJP’s Shikha defeated him, while Congress’ Garvit Singhvi remained at third place.

Aam Aadmi Party’s Awadh Ojha lost by 28,072 votes from Patparganj assembly seat. BJP’s Ravinder Singh Negi has defeated the AAP candidate. At the same time, Congress’s Anil Kumar remained at third place with 16,549 votes.

Kapil Mishra of BJP has won from Karawal Nagar assembly seat by a huge margin of 23,355 votes. He has defeated Aam Aadmi Party’s Manoj Tyagi, who remained at second place.

BJP’s Vijender Gupta has won from Rohini assembly seat by a margin of 37,816. He has defeated AAP candidate Pradeep Mittal, who got 32,549 votes.

AAP’s Imran Hussain has won from Ballimaran assembly seat by 29,823 votes. BJP’s Kamal Bagri remained at second place with 27,181 votes.

AAP’s current state president Gopal Rai has won from Babarpur assembly seat by 18, 994 votes. Here BJP has been at second place and Congress at third place.

BJP’s Arvinder Singh Lovely has won from Gandhi Nagar assembly seat. Arvinder Singh Lovely has defeated AAP’s Naveen Chaudhary by 12,748 votes.

BJP’s Kailash Gehlot has won from Bijwasan assembly seat. He has defeated AAP’s Surendra Bhardwaj.

Former Delhi BJP President Satish Upadhyay has won from Malviya Nagar seat. He has defeated AAP’s Somnath Bharti by just 2,131 votes in a close fight.

Aam Aadmi Party’s Mukesh Ahlawat has won from Sultanpur Mazra assembly seat. He has defeated BJP candidate Karam Singh Karma by a huge margin of 17,126.

BJP’s Manjinder Singh Sirsa has won from Rajouri Garden seat. He has defeated AAP’s Dhanwati Chandela by 18,190 votes.

AAP’s Durgesh Pathak lost Rajendra Nagar seat by 1,231 votes in a close contest. He was defeated by BJP’s Umang Bajaj, who got 45,440 votes.

BJP’s Mohan Singh Bisht won the Mustafabad seat with a margin of 17,578. Here AAP’s Adil Ahmed Khan came second and AIMIM’s Tahir Hussain came third.

AAP’s Rakhi Birla lost Madipur seat by 10,899 votes. She was defeated by BJP’s Kailash Gangwal.

Aam Aadmi Party’s sitting MLA Amanatullah Khan is ahead by 33,225 votes from Okhla assembly seat. AIMIM’s Shifa ur Rehman is in second place.
