New Delhi | Special Vaccination Center has been started in Delhi for persons going abroad to study, work or participate in international sports. The Delhi government has started a vaccine center for these people at Navyug School located on Mandir Marg. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia inaugurated this vaccination center on Monday morning. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the children who are going to study abroad, participate in international sports, or do jobs. This special vaccination center has been started for them so that they can get the protection of the vaccine and they can travel safely.
The Deputy Chief Minister shared that people are being administered the Covidshield vaccine at this centre. Under the special provision, here the beneficiary can get the second dose administered within 28 to 84 days of the first dose.
The beneficiaries who will receive the vaccine through this special center include students who have to go abroad for higher education or those who have to go for jobs abroad.
Apart from this, athletes, sportspersons and supporting members of the Indian contingent participating in the International Olympic Games to be held in Tokyo are also included in this.
This center has started on 14th June. This facility will be available for those who have to go for international travel in the period up to 31st August 2021. For vaccination, they are required to bring ID proof and documents along with their passport.
