New Delhi| A thief, who was caught stealing a motor of water from a house in North Delhi’s Wazirabad area, was thrashed by an angry mob and then shaved off his head. The police swung into action on Friday night after the video of the incident went viral on social media.
Police said, “A video clip surfaced on social media on Friday, in which some men were seen thrashing a man. During interrogation, it was learned that the local residents of Wazirabad village allegedly robbed him of a water motor. was caught. He was brutally beaten up and his head was shaved.”
The thief has been identified as Shakeel. An FIR has been registered against him under sections 323, 341, 355, 504, and 34 of IPC.
According to the information, no arrest has been made in this case.
