Mahakumbh Nagar, February 16 Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan took a dip of faith in the holy Triveni Sangam of Prayagraj on Sunday. He described it as a privilege to attend Maha Kumbh 2025. He said, “We are fortunate to have got the opportunity to participate in Maha Kumbh 2025. We are very happy to be here.”
After taking a holy dip at Triveni Sangam, Dharmendra Pradhan wrote on his social media platform X, “Mahakumbh is a proof of the liveliness of Sanatan civilization, culture, philosophy and our eternal traditions. It is my immense fortune to take a dip of faith with my family in the confluence of the divine streams of Maa Ganga, Maa Yamuna and Maa Saraswati. Amrit Snan in the Maha Kumbh of unity is an unforgettable experience for me. May Maa Ganga bless everyone, this is my wish.”
Ministers of Uttar Pradesh government were also present on this occasion.
It is worth mentioning that today is Sunday and a huge crowd has gathered in Maha Kumbh. Policemen are walking in front of the crowd by forming a chain. Due to this, the crowd is moving forward slowly. Security arrangements are being strengthened at every level. The fair will continue till February 26. In view of this, people have arrived in large numbers with their families. Due to this, there was a jam at many places in the city. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also reached Maha Kumbh. First he took stock of the crowd through aerial survey, then he attended the program related to ‘Climate Conference’.
The Chief Minister said that between January 13 and February 16, 52 crore devotees have taken a dip of faith in this holy triveni of Maa Ganga, Yamuna and Maa Saraswati. 52 crore people are able to take a dip here when they are getting uninterrupted water by the grace of Maa Ganga, Yamuna and Maa Saraswati. Whoever is taking a dip here is experiencing spiritual energy. When they are sharing this experience in their village and surrounding areas, then devotees from there are coming here on a large scale and taking this entire event to new heights of success. The crowd of people going to take bath in the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj is not decreasing. People from different states are arriving to take a holy dip.
