Srinagar | Jammu and Kashmir Police officials on Thursday said that two terrorists have been killed in an ongoing encounter between militants and security forces in the Redwani area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district. Police said that two unidentified terrorists have been killed. The search operation is on.
A joint team of police and security forces had cordoned off the area and started a search operation on the basis of specific information about the presence of terrorists, exchange of fire broke out between the terrorists and the security forces on Thursday.
As soon as the security forces reached the spot where the terrorists were hiding, they started firing in large numbers on the security forces, triggering an encounter.
