Mumbai, January 16 . The first picture of the accused in the knife attack case on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan at his Mumbai residence has surfaced. The accused’s face is clearly visible in the CCTV footage obtained by the police. He is seen descending the stairs of the building at 2:33 am on Thursday. The accused does not look much older than his appearance.
In the footage obtained by the police, the accused is seen descending the stairs of the building. The police are trying to identify him and arrest him.
The police said that the attacker had entered the house with the intention of theft. He entered the house using the stairs of the fire exit. The accused is currently absconding.
Mumbai Police said that everyone working in Saif Ali Khan’s house is being questioned so that some clue can be found.
The thief who entered the house in the early hours of Thursday attacked the actor with a sharp weapon. Injured Saif was admitted to Lilavati Hospital for treatment, where he underwent surgery.
A statement was issued by his team regarding the actor’s health, saying that the actor is now out of danger. Currently, he is in the hospital and a team of doctors is monitoring his health. The statement further said that the actor’s surgery has been successful. He is now absolutely fine. He is not in any danger.
The actor’s team also thanked the doctors who performed this surgery. Those who performed the actor’s surgery include Dr. Neeraj Utmani, Dr. Nitin Dange, and Dr. Leena Jain. Along with this, the team also thanked all those fans who are wishing for the actor’s speedy recovery.
Mumbai Joint CP Law and Order said that Bandra Police is investigating the matter.
