Mumbai: Tripti Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s romantic film ‘Dhadak 2’ is releasing in theatres on Friday. Before the release of the film, Tripti posted an emotional note on social media, in which she expressed her feelings and said that on this special occasion her heart is filled with happiness, excitement and nervousness.
Trupti said that this film is very important for her and she is experiencing many emotions regarding it.
Trupti wrote in an Instagram post, “Now the time is close, ‘Dhadak 2’ is now going to come to you and I am feeling many emotions together… happiness, excitement and nervousness.”
She said that her character Vidhi has become very close to her heart. She said, “Vidhi’s story, her love, her confusion and courage have changed me from within. I am sure that the audience will also feel connected to this character. For me, this role was an emotional and deep experience.”
Tripti expressed hope that the film will leave a different impression on the hearts and minds of the audience. She appealed to everyone to watch this film in theatres.
In a recent interview, when asked what she found special in this film, the actress said that she was most attracted by the emotional aspect of the story and the complexity of her character.
Tripti said, “When I first heard the story from Shazia, many questions arose in my mind, not only about the film but also about the characters. I felt a deep connection with the story. Even at home, I kept thinking about that story, that world and especially the character of Vidhi, I am playing this character. All these questions were going on in my mind. I realized that this is an important character, it would be the right decision to do it, its story should be conveyed to the people. ”
Directed by Shazia Iqbal, ‘Dhadak 2’ is a sequel to the 2018 hit film ‘Dhadak’. The first film starred Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles.
