New Delhi: The Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) of Hindu College organized a grand felicitation ceremony at The LaLit, New Delhi, to honor its distinguished alumnus, Hon’ble Justice Manmohan, on his elevation as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India.
Addressing an esteemed gathering, Justice Manmohan reflected on the values instilled in him during his time at Hindu College, emphasizing the lifelong impact of compassion, kindness, and integrity. “The greatness of Hindu College is that it taught me certain universal truths of life. It taught me about compassion. It taught me about kindness to people. And I think those have been the governing principles on which I have built my career. We must reinforce these principles in our lives, and I hope the next generation continues to imbibe them,” he expressed with gratitude.
The Principal of Hindu College, Prof. Anju Srivastava, hailed the occasion as a moment of great pride, highlighting the enduring bond between the college and its alumni. “Our illustrious alumnus, Hon’ble Justice Manmohan, is not only a well-wisher of Hindu College but also a guiding force through his vision. Our alumni continue to shine in diverse fields, making every Hindu College student proud. Their deep-rooted affection for their alma mater inspires us to celebrate their achievements with great enthusiasm,” she stated.
The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished alumni from the legal fraternity, including Justice Mini Pushkarna, Justice Jasmeet Singh, and Justice Prateek Jalan, along with senior advocates from the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court. The celebration was also graced by bureaucrats, academicians, business leaders, sports personalities, Bollywood celebrities, and esteemed faculty members of Hindu College.
