Hindu College organized a remarkable event to commemorate International Yoga Day

Hindu College, a prestigious educational institution known for its commitment to holistic well-being, proudly organized a remarkable event to commemorate International Yoga Day on June 21st, 2023.

On this occasion, Principal Prof. Anju Srivastava expressed her commitment to the comprehensive and inclusive growth of students. She mentioned that the college had organized a fifteen-day Common Yoga Protocol for the students, along with a three-day workshop for frontline workers such as housekeeping staff, gardeners, and security personnel.

She said these sessions not only provided a platform for individuals to enhance their physical fitness and flexibility but also fostered mental clarity and emotional well-being. On the sprawling lawn of the College, over 100 participants including teachers, non-teaching staff, students and NSS volunteers joined a live-streaming session of the Common Yoga Protocol, which was led by Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar the Hon’ble Vice President of India from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The principal also acknowledged the continuous support of the Ayush Ministry in promoting yoga at the college.
