New Delhi| PC and printing major HP is all set to partner with a leading Taiwanese smartphone processor brand for its new Chromebook device, which will arrive in India early next week at a starting price of around Rs 20,000. Industry sources gave this information on Wednesday. To help keep students connected, productive, focused and secure, HP is offering its latest edition for the Chromebook range in the first week of April, which will be the company’s first device with a chip manufactured by the smartphone brand.
Sources said the device can be operated with a leading processor for the smartphone category, empowering students with a personalized interactive, cloud-based learning experience.
Sources said, “The new HP Chromebook will provide users with the right mix of powerful performance and mobility at a competitive price point.”
In 2020 HP changed and recreated the PC experience for different user segments (user segments). According to IDC, the company led the PC market in India with a 28.7 percent market share last year.
The new Chromebook will be ideal for on-demand applications such as web browsing, email, apps and services, enabling AI-enhanced applications.
