‘I will not give up’ – Trump addressed supporters at the place where the attack took place

New York, October 6 . Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Saturday visited the place in Butler, Pennsylvania, where an attempt was made to assassinate him 12 weeks ago (on July 13). He described it as a ‘sacred place’ and said that he survived due to God’s intervention. During this, Tesla owner Elon Musk was also present with Trump.

The former president also addressed his supporters present in large numbers during this time. He recalled those ’16 terrifying seconds’ when Secret Service agents surrounded him.

The Republican candidate paid tribute to Corey Comperatore, who died in this attack.

The former president said, “I will never give up, never bow down, never break, not even in the face of death.”

Musk, who was present with Trump, also gave a speech. He said that if voters do not vote to help Trump win, then ‘this will be the last election.’

Musk said, “Free expression is the foundation of democracy. It is important for democracy that you have free expression.” Let us tell you that Twitter had banned Trump’s account, which Musk opposed, after which he bought Twitter and named it ‘X’.

Trump’s ear was injured in this attack. At the same time, the potential assassin, 20-year-old Thomas Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, was shot dead by a Secret Service sniper.

The Butler firing incident led to widespread criticism of the Secret Service and its director had to resign. Critics expressed concern over how Crooks reached the roof near where Trump was giving a speech.

Two months after this incident, Trump was attacked once again in Florida on September 15. This incident took place at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach. A man was arrested for attacking the former president. This happened when Secret Service agents saw the barrel of a rifle in the bushes. However, Trump did not suffer any harm during this time.
