Afzal Amanullah IICC Election: The election for the India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC) in Delhi is at its peak. Addressing a special meeting held at the India International Centre in this regard, former Secretary to the Government of India and presidential candidate for IICC Afzal Amanullah said that he would make IICC a strong global centre of Indian Islamic tradition. He assured that after retirement, he has all the time to dedicate to IICC and will spend the maximum time strengthening the centre.
Decisions in General Body Meetings:
Afzal Amanullah said that all major decisions will be taken in the General Body meetings.
Basic Facilities: He promised that basic amenities such as a cozy members’ lounge and arrangements for tea and coffee for members would be provided within the first two months.
Comprehensive Documentary: A comprehensive documentary on Islamic culture in India, Muslim marriages in different states, and other traditions will be prepared so that people coming from abroad can access all this information in one place.
Team Afzal Amanullah’s spokesperson and Board of Trustees (BOT) candidate Dr. M. Rahmatullah said that IICC will play a significant role in the country’s development. He mentioned that IICC has a lot of potential, and there is a need for the centre to be led by a capable, experienced, and diligent team. Senior journalist and academician Dr. M Rahmatullah expressed confidence that IICC voters are very mature and will vote wisely this time.
