Indore is the capital of taste along with cleanliness: PM Modi

INDORE: Narendra Modi said at the Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan in Indore that Indore is also the capital of taste along with cleanliness. Prime Minister Modi talked about the prosperity of Madhya Pradesh and Indore and told about its merits. Also said that people say that Indore is a city, but I say that Indore is a ‘Daur’ which moves ahead of time, carrying its heritage. Indore is also the capital of taste along with cleanliness.

Prime Minister Modi also mentioned the bullion market and Chappan Dukan here. Apart from this, Poha, Sabudana Khichdi, Shikanji were also discussed here and said that Indore is wonderful in terms of food.

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi reached Indore by a special aircraft. Governor Mangu Bhai Patel, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, State President Vishnu Dutt Sharma and Home Minister Narottam Mishra welcomed him at the airport.

According to official information, Prime Minister Modi will leave for New Delhi from the airport at 2.35 pm after attending the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention at the Brilliant Convention Center in Indore. Dr. Mohammed Irfan Ali, President of the Republic of Guyana will be the chief guest and Chandrika Prasad Santokhi, President of the Republic of Suriname, will be the special guest of the conference.
