New Delhi, January 16 Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate ‘India Mobility Global Expo-2025’ on Friday. Union Heavy Industries and Steel Minister HD Kumaraswamy said on Thursday that the government is encouraging manufacturers to promote electric vehicles.
Kumaraswamy said that he will inaugurate ‘India Mobility Global Expo 2025’. Where new vehicle models of many companies will be introduced. PM Modi himself is excited to see them.
He said, “PM Modi is going to inaugurate the mobility program. This is not just an inauguration, but I think he wants to personally see the vehicle models of the companies. This vehicle exhibition is in line with Prime Minister Modi’s vision of reducing carbon emissions in the country. We are encouraging the manufacturer to further promote electric cars.”
HD Kumaraswamy said that the demo of Mahindra’s vehicle has been shown, which is really very impressive. Their model is very good. In my experience, a new era of Make in India programme has begun, which was a dream of our Prime Minister Modi. I think we have finally succeeded now.
The ‘Bharat Mobility Global Expo’ will be held from January 17 to 22 at three different venues – Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi in Delhi and India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, with more than nine shows and over 20 conferences.
The expo will also have state sessions to showcase policies and initiatives in the mobility sector, to enhance cooperation between the industry and the states, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a statement.
This year the event will have a special emphasis on global importance, with exhibitors and visitors from across the world participating.
